AI and medication searches: useful questions, human confirmation
The difference between an AI-generated answer and a pharmacy-confirmed next step, and how Medlocators currently works.
A generated answer is not a pharmacy confirmation
AI can produce convincing text, but a medication name or pharmacy listing in an answer does not establish current stock, correct prescription details, or whether a pharmacy can dispense for you. Treat an AI answer as a starting point for questions rather than a confirmed medication result.
How Medlocators currently works
Medlocators uses human pharmacy outreach. We do not currently offer an AI stock-checking engine, an AI prescribing tool or an AI clinical decision service. Our team reviews your request and records pharmacy information in your private portal.
Keep the exact details in view
Use the name, strength, form and quantity on your prescription. We have removed automatic medication suggestions from our form so an unrelated suggestion does not replace your intended entry. A licensed prescriber or pharmacist should resolve clinical questions and any proposed substitution.
Protect your private information
Do not paste a prescription image, identifying health details or a private portal link into a public chatbot or a public article. If you use another AI service, review that provider's privacy terms. Prescription images for a Medlocators request belong in the authenticated private portal.
Ask for the source and the time
When checking an availability claim, ask who confirmed it and when. Even after a pharmacy confirmation, stock can change. Contact the pharmacy before traveling and confirm prescription and payment arrangements directly.

General service information, not medical advice. Your licensed prescriber and pharmacist handle clinical decisions.
