Your privacy at Medlocators
Effective 18 October 2026. Medlocators is a product of Webster Digitals. Contact support@medlocators.com for privacy questions; do not include medication details in ordinary email.
What we collect We collect your name, email, phone number, medication name and prescription details, ZIP code and travel radius, consent records, service messages, and bank-transfer references. We do not request online-banking credentials or card details. Required information supports your account and medication locating request.
How we use and share information We use the information to verify your email, manage your request, contact pharmacies as authorized, reconcile service payments, and send service notifications. Authorized team members access requests according to their roles and assignments. Hostinger hosts the website and database; the configured email provider delivers service emails. Pharmacies receive the details needed to check your request. Your medication name is not included in automated emails. Names typed for suggestions are matched against a catalogue stored by Medlocators and are not sent to NLM.
Your choices Request submission includes permission to store and use the information for the service. It does not subscribe you to marketing, texts, or automated calls. We do not sell your request data or use advertising trackers in this website. Essential cookies maintain security and sign-in sessions. You can request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent through your portal or support@medlocators.com. We verify your identity before acting and explain any information that must remain for payment reconciliation or other obligations. Withdrawing permission can prevent further pharmacy outreach.
Retention Unverified request details are removed after 30 days. Details of completed, cancelled, and refunded requests are removed after 90 days without further activity. An hourly cleanup removes expired details from the active database; a minimal account and payment ledger remains separately for reconciliation. Active requests remain available while the service is ongoing. Expired access links and sessions are removed automatically. Hosting backups may retain older copies under the hosting provider’s separate backup schedule. Contact support to request earlier deletion or closure of your account.
Protection Sensitive request and contact details are encrypted in the application database. Customer portals require email verification; team accounts require passwords and authenticator verification. Access is checked on the server. No security system can guarantee that an incident will never occur.
Changes The current notice and its version are available here. We record the version accepted with a request; a new notice does not retroactively authorize a new use of your information.
Website feature update — 25 October 2026 Prescription images are optional and may be uploaded only to a verified request. Images are normalized, metadata is removed, and the image data is encrypted in the database. Access is limited to the customer, assigned operations staff and the owner. Image data is removed with retired request details or an approved deletion request. Do not include unrelated health or identity information.
You can unsubscribe through any new service email or your portal’s Privacy & data page. This stops all future emails, including sign-in links and service updates. Messages already accepted by an email provider may still arrive. A minimal do-not-contact record is kept to honor the opt-out. Our owner dashboard lists unsubscribed addresses. There is no marketing subscription bundled with a medication request.
A signed-in customer can request deletion of personal request details and images. The owner reviews active services, refunds and necessary payment records before completing deletion. After completion, account access and active links are revoked; a minimal financial ledger and do-not-contact record may remain separately.
Public journal images and approved client reviews are separate from private prescriptions. Only feedback authorized for public display is published. Content writers can manage their own article drafts and public article images; they cannot access customer requests or payments. No advertising pixels, analytics SDKs or third-party tracking scripts are enabled.
Medication suggestions are disabled. Enter medication details manually as written on the prescription. ZIP code is used for nearby pharmacy outreach. Generic equivalents may be considered by the pharmacist by default; tell the team if the prescription requires a specific brand.
