How to prepare a medication search that starts with the right details
What to gather before pharmacy outreach, how multiple searches work, and what happens after you submit.
Start with the prescription in front of you
Copy the medication name, strength, dosage form and quantity exactly as written. Similar names do not always describe the same prescription. Medlocators uses manual entry, so a suggested name will not replace what you type.
If anything is unclear, ask your prescriber or pharmacist before submitting. Do not change a dose or substitute a medication based on a website search.
Choose what to search for now
Select a one-time package of one, three or six searches. Each medication request uses one search. With a larger package, you can enter more than one medication at the start, up to the package size. Unused credits become available after our team confirms payment.
Keep your contact details accurate
Provide your name, email, phone number and US ZIP code. Your customer profile is prepared when you submit. Confirm the secure email link to open your private portal. You can then upload an optional prescription image there. Prescription images do not belong in public articles or reviews.
Know when the search begins
Submitting does not automatically charge you. Review your order and ACH instructions in the portal. The 24-hour search window begins after payment and complete prescription details are confirmed. The locating fee is separate from medication costs, insurance charges and any bank fees.
Keep the next step in one place
Use your portal for questions, updates and pharmacy results. Stock may change after confirmation. Contact the pharmacy before traveling, and let your licensed prescriber and pharmacist handle dispensing and any prescription transfer.
